Piston and Connecting Rod Assemble

EN-46745 Piston Pin Retainer Remover/Installer

For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools .

Assemble the piston to the connecting rod (3).

Install the piston pin (1).
Install the piston pin retainers using the EN-46745 remover/installer.
Assemble the NEW piston rings to the piston (2). Use a suitable tool to expand the rings.
WARNING: Handle the piston carefully. Worn piston rings are sharp and may cause bodily injury.
