Oil Pan Removal

EN-37228  Separation Tool

For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools .

1. Remove the 2 oil pan front bolts (1) by using the M6 short wrench.

   NOTE: Mark the position of the oil pan bolts because of different length.
2. Turn the crankshaft until it is possible to remove the 2 oil pan rear bolts (3) by using the M6 long wrench.
3. Remove the 10 oil pan bolts by using the M8 long wrench.
4. Remove the oil pan (1) by using the EN-37228  separating tool.

5. Remove the oil pump seal ring (2) from the oil pump (1).

6. Remove and DISCARD the seal ring (1), using a suitable tool.
