Fuel Injector Removal

Special Tools

• GE-02619-A  Slide Hammer
• EN-51256  Injector Remover Adapter Set
• EN-47632  Cleaning Tool

For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools .

1. Remove the 4 injector bracket bolts (2) along with the 4 washers (2).

2. Install the EN-51256  remover (2) to the injector (1) along with the GE-02619  remover (3) in order to remove the fuel injector.

3. Remove the 4 injectors (3) along with the fuel injector brackets (2).

4. Separate the 4 fuel injector brackets from the fuel injectors.
5. Remove and DISCARD the 4 fuel injector seal rings (1).
6. Clean the injector sealing surfaces in the cylinder head using the EN-47632  cleaning tool (1) in following procedure:

   CAUTION: Refer to EN-47632 Cleaning Tool Rotation Caution .
   1. Use the brush side to loosen the dirt.
   2. Use the sponge side to remove the dirt.
