EN-45059 Angle Meter
EN-46789 Camshaft Fixing Tool

NOTE: The exhaust camshaft is only replaceable for camshaft housing with plain bearings. To determine the type of the camshaft housing, refer to Camshaft Housing Replacement .

Install the exhaust camshaft (2).

Install the exhaust camshaft sealing ring (1).
Install the EN-46789 fixing tool.

Install the exhaust camshaft sprocket (1).
Install the NEW exhaust camshaft sprocket bolt (2) and tighten a first pass to 40 N.m (22 lb ft).
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

CAUTION: Refer to Torque-to-Yield Fastener Caution .
Tighten the NEW exhaust camshaft sprocket bolt a final pass to an additional 55 degrees, using the EN-45059 meter.
