Removal Procedure

  1. Air Inlet Grille Panel - Remove - Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement (Trax)Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement (Encore)

  3. Remove the front suspension strut mounting plate nut cap (1).

  5. Use the CH-49375  wrench (2) and a proper size bit to loosen the front suspension strut mounting plate nut.

  7. Remove the front suspension strut mounting plate nut (1) and the front suspension strut mounting plate (2).
  8. Remove the front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
  9. Remove any harnesses or hoses attached to the strut assembly.
  10. Front Stabilizer Shaft Link to Strut Assembly - Separate - Stabilizer Shaft Link Replacement

  12. Front Suspension Strut Nut - Remove
  13. Front Suspension Strut Bolt - Remove

  15. Remove the front strut assembly from the vehicle (1).
  16. Transfer components as necessary.
