Preliminary Procedure Remove the windshield wiper arms. Refer to Windshield Wiper Arm Replacement . Remove the air inlet grille panel extension. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Extension Replacement .
1	Air Inlet Grille Panel Retainer (Qty: 6) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
2	Air Inlet Grille Panel Procedure Disconnect the windshield washer hose. Use a suitable tool to release the push-in retainers at each end of the hood rear weatherstrip. Lift up the front edge of the air inlet grille panel, slide the grille panel forward from both hood hinges. Use a suitable tool to carefully release the air inlet grille panel from the windshield. Transfer parts as needed.

Air Inlet Grille Panel

Procedure

Disconnect the windshield washer hose.
Use a suitable tool to release the push-in retainers at each end of the hood rear weatherstrip.
Lift up the front edge of the air inlet grille panel, slide the grille panel forward from both hood hinges.
Use a suitable tool to carefully release the air inlet grille panel from the windshield.
Transfer parts as needed.
