Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement (Left Side)Intake Manifold Cover Replacement (Right Side) .
  2. Relieve the fuel pressure. Refer to Fuel Pressure Relief .
1 Fuel Injection Fuel Feed Hose Fastener
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
10 N.m (89 lb in)
2 Fuel Injection Fuel Feed Hose

Procedure

  1. Disconnect the quick connect fittings. Refer to Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service 
  2. Unclip the fuel injector fuel feed hose from the retainers, as necessary.
