Seat Belt Retractor Pretensioner Replacement - Front (Coupe)

Callout Component Name
Preliminary Procedure: 
Disable the SIR. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
1 Seat Belt Anchor Bolt
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Procedure

  1. Move the seat to the full forward position.
  2. Pull the seat belt anchor cover upward to gain access to the bolt.

Tighten:  45 N.m (33 lb ft)

2 Seat Belt Retractor Bolt
Tip:  Remove the body lock pillar lower trim panel to gain access to the bolt. Refer to Body Lock Pillar Garnish Lower Molding Replacement (Coupe) or Body Lock Pillar Garnish Lower Molding Replacement (Sedan) .

Tighten:  45 N.m (33 lb ft)

3 Front Seat Belt Guide Screw

Tighten:  9 N.m (80 lb in)

4 Seat Belt Adjuster Bolt
Tip:  Flip open the seat belt adjuster cover to gain access to the bolt.

Tighten:  45 N.m (33 lb ft)

5 Front Seat Belt Retractor Assembly

Procedure

  1. Disconnect the belt tension sensor electrical connector.
  2. Remove the seat belt assembly from the seat belt guide attached to the head restraint.
