Preliminary Procedures
- Remove the right and left instrument panel trim plate appliques. Refer to Instrument Panel Trim Plate Applique Replacement .
- Remove the front floor console front trim cover. Refer to Front Floor Console Front Cover Replacement (9C1) .
- Remove the transmission control assembly. Refer to Transmission Control Replacement

Instrument Panel Lower Center Trim Panel Assembly Procedure
- Use a flat bladed plastic trim tool in order to release the retainer clips securing the trim panel to the instrument panel assembly.
- Disconnect the electrical connections.
- When replacing the trim panel, transfer all necessary components.
