Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  1. Position the IAH and pipe, using a NEW IAH gasket. Install the 4 IAH bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the IAH bolts to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

  2. Connect the air intake heater electrical connector.

  3. Position the positive cable and install the nut.

    Tighten:  Tighten the positive cable nut to 4 N.m (34 lb in).

  4. Install the charge air cooler outlet pipe. Refer to Charged Air Cooler Hoses/Pipes Replacement (Inlet) or Charged Air Cooler Hoses/Pipes Replacement (Outlet) .
  5. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
