4 Door

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the following parts:
    1. Rear seat (See REAR SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    2. Rear scuff plate (See REAR SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    3. Tire house trim (See TIRE HOUSE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    4. C-pillar trim (See C-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    5. Rear package trim (See REAR PACKAGE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Disconnect the filament connector.
  4. Set the headliner out of the way.
  5. Apply protective tape along the edge of the body.
  6. Cut the rear window glass molding lip using a razor.
    WARNING:
    • Using a razor with bare hands can cause injury. Always wear gloves when using a razor.
    NOTE:
    • The rear window glass molding is a replacement part.
