Rear Door Unit Removal/Installation

  1. Remove the following parts:
    1. Sail garnish (5 door) (See SAIL GARNISH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    2. Regulator handle (Vehicles with manual window system) (See REGULATOR HANDLE REMOVAL .) (See REGULATOR HANDLE INSTALLATION .)
    3. Rear door trim (See REAR DOOR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    4. Rear door garnish (5 door) (See REAR DOOR GARNISH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    5. Rear beltline molding (See REAR BELTLINE MOLDING REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    6. Rear door glass (See REAR DOOR GLASS REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    7. Rear door speaker (See REAR DOOR SPEAKER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  2. Remove the rod from the outer handle.
  3. Disconnect the rear door wiring harness connector.
  4. Remove tabs A and B, then remove the rear door wiring harness bracket.

  5. Remove screws A, B, and the fastener.
  6. Remove the rear door unit.
  7. Install in the reverse order of removal.
