2WD Transmissions

  1. Position main housing so rear is facing upward. Measure distance (dimension "A") from rear face of rear cover to rear face of output shaft tone wheel. See Figure.
  2. Measure distance from rear face of rear cover module to rear face of the retaining ring (dimension "B"). See Figure. Calculate selective spacer size (dimension "C") by subtracting dimension "B" from dimension "A". Compare result to proper spacer size. See REAR COVER SELECTIVE SPACER IDENTIFICATION  table. Install proper selective spacer onto output shaft.
