4WD Transmissions

  1. Position main housing so rear end is facing upward. Measure distance (dimension "A") from rear face of rear cover to rear face of bearing spacer. See Fig 2.
  2. Measure distance from rear face of rear cover module to rear face of retaining ring (dimension "B"). See Fig 2. Calculate selective spacer size (dimension "C") by subtracting dimension "B" from dimension "A". Compare result to proper spacer size. See REAR COVER SELECTIVE SPACER IDENTIFICATION  table. Install proper selective spacer onto output shaft.
