Output Shaft Bushing Inspection

Inspect output shaft bushing for wear or damage. Measure inside diameter of bushing (dimension "A"). See Fig 1 or Fig 2 . Compare measurements to specifications. See REAR COVER MODULE SPECIFICATIONS  table under TRANSMISSION SPECIFICATIONS. If measurement is more than specification, replace bushing. Measure outside diameter of bearing surface (dimension "B"). Compare measurements to specifications. If measurement is less than specification, replace the output shaft.
