Installation Procedure

  1. Install the ignition coils.
    2. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  2. Install the ignition coil bolts and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  3. If the number 6 ignition coil (1) was removed, connect the PCV fresh air line (2) to the camshaft cover.

  4. Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connectors (1) to the ignition coils.
  5. If number 4 or number 6 ignition coil was replaced, install the underhood electrical center. Refer to Underhood Electrical Center or Junction Block Replacement (HP7) or Underhood Electrical Center or Junction Block Replacement (HP5) .
  6. Install the air fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement (LCS) .
