Preliminary Procedure Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (With HP5) or Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (Without HP5) . Remove liquid line. Refer to Air Conditioning Condenser and Air Conditioning Evaporator Tube Replacement (HP5) or Air Conditioning Condenser and Air Conditioning Evaporator Tube Replacement (LAT) or Air Conditioning Condenser and Air Conditioning Evaporator Tube Replacement (LE5, LZ4, LY7) Remove evaporator outlet hose. Refer to Evaporator Outlet Hose Replacement (HP5) or Evaporator Outlet Hose Replacement (LAT) or Evaporator Outlet Hose Replacement (LE5, LZ4, LY7) .
1	Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) Bolt CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten: 3.5 N.m (31 lb in)
2	TXV/Plate Tip: Remove and discard the seal. Refer to Air Conditioning O-Ring Seal Replacement .

Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) Bolt

CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten: 3.5 N.m (31 lb in)

TXV/Plate
Tip: Remove and discard the seal. Refer to Air Conditioning O-Ring Seal Replacement .
