Preliminary Procedures
- Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (With HP5) or Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (Without HP5) .
- Remove the left headlamp assembly. Refer to Headlamp Replacement
.
- Remove the accessory DC power control module mounting plate. Refer to PSD SIE TITLE Error: SIE linked to invalid Cell ID 184781
.

Liquid Line Clamp Fastener.
Tip:
Liquid line clamp is located behind brake master cylinder reservoir on cowl.Tighten:
4 N.m (35 lb in)

Liquid Line Fastener (Qty: 2) Tighten:
16 N.m (12 lb ft)

Liquid Line. Procedure
- Remove the liquid line from the connection block at the thermal expansion valve (TXV).
- Ensure to cap all HVAC line/hose connections immediately after removal to avoid contamination. Refer to Handling of Refrigerant Lines and Fittings .
- Remove liquid line from attachment clamps located inside the left strut housing and on the left hand compartment panel behind the headlamp assembly.
- Install new sealing washers. Refer to Air Conditioning System Seal Replacement
