Installation Procedure

    Brake Pipe (3) - Install

  2. Remove the cap from the brake hose.
    3. CAUTION:

    Fastener Caution

  3. Brake Pipe Fitting (2) @ Brake Hose - Install and tighten 18 N.m (13 lb ft)
  4. Clip (1) - Secure

    Clip (2) - Secure

  6. Clip (1) - Secure
  7. Lower the vehicle.

    Remove the plug from the brake pressure modulator valve (BPMV) outlet port.

  9. Right Front Brake Pipe Fitting (1) - Install and tighten 18 N.m (13 lb ft)
  10. Radiator Surge Tank - Install - Radiator Surge Tank Replacement (LGX)Radiator Surge Tank Replacement (LSY)
  11. Bleed the brake system. Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Manual without JEO) Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure without JEO) Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (With JEO) 
  12. Check for brake system leaks.
  13. Front Tire and Wheel Assembly - Install - Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
  14. Fill the brake master cylinder reservoir to the maximum-full level with GM approved brake fluid from a clean, sealed brake fluid container. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers
