Preliminary Procedures

1. Drain the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (LGX Static Fill) Cooling System Draining and Filling (LGX GE 47716) Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY Static Fill) Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY GE 47716) 
2. { If equipped }Power Transfer Unit Vent Hose @ Radiator Surge Tank - Remove - Power Transfer Unit Vent Replacement (LSY Engine)Power Transfer Unit Vent Replacement (LGX Engine)
3. Engine Coolant Air Bleed Hose @ Radiator Surge Tank - Remove - Engine Coolant Air Bleed Hose Replacement (Water Pump to Water Pump Inlet Pipe) Engine Coolant Air Bleed Hose Replacement (Engine Coolant Flow Control Valve to Engine Coolant thermostat Housing Pipe) Engine Coolant Air Bleed Hose Replacement (LSY Radiator to Radiator Surge Tank to Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing Pipe) 
4. Auxiliary Heater Inlet Hose @ Radiator Surge Tank - Remove - Auxiliary Heater Inlet Hose Replacement (LSY)

Procedure

1. Fill the cooling system to the proper level. Cooling System Draining and Filling (LGX Static Fill) Cooling System Draining and Filling (LGX GE 47716) Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY Static Fill) Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY GE 47716) 
2. Start the engine and check for coolant leaks.
