Installation Procedure

    Connect the electrical connector.

  2. Instrument Panel Lower Center Trim Panel (2) - Install
    3. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Instrument Panel Center Trim Panel Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [6x] - Fastener Specifications

    Automatic Transmission Range Selector Lever Cable Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

  5. Automatic Transmission Range Selector Lever Cable (2) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
  6. Connect the front floor console wiring harness (3) to the body wiring harness.

    Front Floor Console Trim Plate (1) - Install

    Install the automatic transmission control lever knob (1) then press down to engage the retainer.

  9. Carefully pull upward on the automatic transmission control lever knob (1) to ensure that the retainer is engaged.

    Front Floor Console Trim Plate Bolt (4) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications 

  11. Connect the electrical connector (3).
  12. Insert the transmission control lever boot (2) into the front floor console trim plate.
  13. Shift the transmission through each gear and ensure that the shift lever knob operates properly.

    Slide the front floor console (1) back into the instrument panel.

    Front Floor Console Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [6x] - Fastener Specifications 

  17. Front Floor Console Bracket Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Front Floor Console Extension Panel - Right Side (1) - Install

  19. Return the seat to its original position.

    Front Floor Console Extension Panel - Left Side (1) - Install

  21. Return the seat to its original position.

    Instrument Panel Trim Pad (1) - Install

    Connect the electrical connectors.

    Instrument Panel Compartment Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [5x] - Fastener Specifications

    Connect the electrical connector.

  27. Instrument Panel Lower Airbag - Passenger Side (2) - Install
  28. Instrument Panel Lower Airbag Nut (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Connect the electrical connectors.

  30. Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Insulator (1) - Install
  31. Install the front edge of the front floor console extension panel into the instrument panel lower trim panel insulator (1).

    Instrument Panel Insulator Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications 

  33. Connect and position the wiring harness.

    Unlock and lower the body control module bracket (2).

  35. Connect the electrical connectors.
  36. Close and lock the body control module bracket (2) into the instrument panel lower trim panel insulator.
  37. Body Control Module Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

    {If equipped} Connect the electrical connector.

  39. Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover - Right Side (1) - Install

    Connect and position the wiring harness.

    Data Link Connector Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications 

  43. Instrument Panel Knee Bolster Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications

    Instrument Panel Center Trim Pad (1) - Install

  45. Return the steering column to its original position.

    Connect the electrical connector.

  47. Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Insulator (1) - Install

    Install the tabs into the instrument panel lower trim panel insulator (1).

    Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Insulator Retainer (1) - Install

  50. Instrument Panel Insulator Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications 
  51. Instrument Panel Insulator Nut (3) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Attach the hood primary latch release cable end retainer to the hood primary latch release cable handle (1).

    Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover - Left Side (1) - Install

    Connect the electrical connector.

  55. Instrument Panel Lower Airbag - Driver Side (2) - Install
  56. Instrument Panel Lower Airbag Nut (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Connect the electrical connector.

  58. Hazard Warning Switch (2) - Install
  59. Firmly secure the hazard warning switch (2) straight forward and ensure it is fully seated.
  60. Hazard Warning Switch Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Connect the electrical connector.

  62. Heater and Air Conditioning User Interface Control (2) - Install
  63. Heater and Air Conditioning Control Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Instrument Panel Trim Plate (2) - Install

  65. Instrument Panel Center Air Outlet Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications
  66. Connect the electrical connectors.

    Radio Control (2) - Install
