Removal Procedure

  1. Front Floor Console (1) - Remove - Front Floor Console Replacement

  4. Instrument Panel Accessory Bracket (2) - Remove - Instrument Panel Accessory Bracket Replacement

    NOTE:

    It is not necessary to remove the radio control assembly or other components from the bracket.

  5. Instrument Panel Trim Pad - Left Side (2) - Remove - Instrument Panel Trim Pad Replacement (Left Side) Instrument Panel Trim Pad Replacement (Right Side)

  10. Instrument Panel Bolt (2) - Remove
  11. Front Floor Console Rear Air Duct (3) - Remove - Front Floor Console Rear Air Duct Replacement
  12. Instrument Carrier Bolt (1) - Remove [6x]

  13. Instrument Panel Bolt (2) - Remove
  14. Note the location and routing of the instrument panel electrical harness assembly, to ensure proper reinstallation.

  15. Disconnect the fasteners securing the instrument panel electrical harness assembly to the instrument carrier (1) and position out of the way.
  16. Use a flat bladed plastic trim tool to help separate the instrument carrier (1) from the defroster nozzle.
  17. With the aid of an assistant lift the instrument carrier (1) rearward and upward from the tie bar assembly.
  18. Remove the instrument carrier (1) from the vehicle.
