WARNING: Replace the passenger presence system as a complete assembly to prevent possible injury to the occupant. All the components in the service kit are assembled and calibrated as a unit. Using only some of the components in the service kit will cause the passenger presence system to operate improperly. Preliminary Procedures Driver or Passenger Seat Inner Recliner Finish Cover Replacement Driver or Passenger Seat Cushion Outer Finish Panel Replacement (with W2E)
1	Front Seat Cushion Cover Procedure Disengage the J-channel retainers from the seat cushion frame. Disconnect electrical connectors, if equipped. Remove the seat cushion cover and pad from the seat cushion frame as an assembly. Carefully remove all hog rings attaching the cover to the pad and replace with new. Gently unhook the clips that attach the cushion cover to the cushion pad without tearing the foam pad, if equipped. Pull the cover away from the pad to disengage the retainers.

3	Front Seat Cushion Pad Procedure Separate the seat cushion cover from the seat cushion pad by pulling the cover away from the pad. Control Module References for programming and setup information, if required. NOTE: The cushion cover and pad are serviced as a kit. None of the components are intended to be serviced separately.
