Preliminary Procedures
- Open and support the rear liftgate assembly.
- Remove the liftgate upper trim finish panel. Refer to Liftgate Upper Trim Finish Panel Replacement
.
- Remove the liftgate side upper sensors. Refer to Liftgate Side Sensor Replacement
.
- Remove the liftgate lower trim finish panel. Refer to Liftgate Lower Trim Finish Panel Replacement

Tighten
6 N.m (53 lb in) |

Spoiler Screw (Qty: 4)
Tighten
6 N.m (53 lb in) |

Rear Spoiler Procedure
- Release the button clips from the upper outer liftgate panel.
- Close the rear liftgate in order to remove the spoiler assembly.
- Remove the rear washer hose nozzle. Refer to Rear Window Washer Nozzle Replacement
.
- Disconnect the electrical connector for the rear high mounted stop lamp.
- Remove the rear center high mounted stop lamp. Refer to High Mount Stop Lamp Replacement
and transfer.
- Ensure all the foam gaskets are in place on the button clips and retainer bolts prior to re-assembly of the spoiler onto the liftgate panel.
