Preliminary Procedures
- Remove the front seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket (without HP2) or Front Seat Replacement - Bucket (with HP2) .
- Remove the front seat recliner lever, if equipped. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Recliner Handle Replacement (with HP2) or Driver or Passenger Seat Recliner Handle Replacement (without HP2) .
- Remove the front seat lumbar actuator knob, if equipped. Refer to Driver Seat Lumbar Support Actuator Knob Replacement (with HP2) or Driver Seat Lumbar Support Actuator Knob Replacement (without HP2) .
- Remove the front seat adjuster outer finish cover. Refer to Front Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement (with HP2) or Front Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement (Manual Seat without HP2) or Front Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement (Power Seat without HP2) .

Front Seat Riser Finish Cover
Tip:
Pull rearward to disengage the cover from the seat riser. |

Front Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Procedure
- Disengage the j-channel retainers from the seat cushion frame.
- Remove the seat cushion cover and pad from the seat cushion frame as an assembly.

Front Seat Cushion Pad
Procedure:
If working on the passenger seat, re-zero the inflatable restraint passenger presence system whenever the seat cushion or any component of the passenger presence system is removed. Refer to Control Module References
