Preliminary Procedures   1. Remove the rear side door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement . 2. Remove the rear side door outside handle. Refer to Rear Side Door Outside Handle Replacement  .
1	Rear Side Door Lock Handle Rod   Procedure    1. Release the clip at the base of the door lock. 2. Release the handle rod from the lock. 3. Disengage the housing release rod from the outside handle.
2	Rear Side Door Handle Housing Bolt   Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.   Tighten  7 N.m (62 lb in)
3	Rear Side Door Handle Housing   Procedure    1. Disconnect electrical connector. 2. Remove the housing through the opening in the inner panel. 3. Transfer the handle release rod to the new housing.
