Automatic Transmission Control Replacement (Left Hand Drive)

Preliminary Procedures Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle . Disconnect the shift linkage from the shift control. Refer to Shift Control Linkage Replacement (RWD) or Shift Control Linkage Replacement (AWD) . Lower the vehicle. Remove the shift control knob. Refer to Transmission Control Lever Knob Replacement . Remove the center console assembly. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement (Left Hand Drive) or Front Floor Console Replacement (Right Hand Drive) .
1	Shift Control Nuts (Qty: 4) NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Tighten: 12 N.m (106 lb in)
2	Shift Control Procedure Disconnect the electrical connector from the shift control. Adjust the shift control linkage after installing the shift control. Refer to Shift Control Linkage Adjustment (Rear Wheel Drive) or Shift Control Linkage Adjustment (All Wheel Drive) .

Shift Control Nuts (Qty: 4)

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Tighten: 12 N.m (106 lb in)

Procedure

Disconnect the electrical connector from the shift control.
Adjust the shift control linkage after installing the shift control. Refer to Shift Control Linkage Adjustment (Rear Wheel Drive) or Shift Control Linkage Adjustment (All Wheel Drive) .
