DTC C0665: Chassis Pitch Signal Circuit Malfunction
- Perform diagnostic system check. See DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK . After performing diagnostic system check, go to next step.
- Install scan tool. Turn ignition switch on. Using scan tool, observe Lift/Dive parameter in Suspension Control Module data list. If scan tool displays INACTIVE, go to next step. If scan tool does not display INACTIVE, go to step 4 .
- Activate lift/dive input. Using scan tool, observe lift/dive data parameter. If lift/dive data parameter changes state, check for an intermittent short to ground or an open in lift/dive circuit (Purple wire). If lift/dive data parameter does not change state, go to next step.
- Turn ignition switch off. Disconnect PCM harness connector. Turn ignition switch on. Using scan tool, observe Lift/Dive data parameter. If scan tool displays INACTIVE, go to step 7 . If scan tool does not display INACTIVE, go to next step.
- Check PCM signal circuit for a short to ground. If a short to ground was found and repaired, go to step 10 . If a short to ground was not found, go to next step.
- Check suspension control module harness connector for a poor connection. If a poor connection was found and repaired, go to step 10 . If a poor connection was not found, go to step 8 .
- Check PCM harness connector for a poor connection. If a poor connection was found and repaired, go to step 10 . If a poor connection was not found, go to step 9 .
- Replace suspension control module. See ESC/CVRSS CONTROL MODULE under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Calibrate NEW control module. See CALIBRATING ESC/CVRSS CONTROL MODULE under ADJUSTMENTS. If replacement is complete, go to step 10 .
- Replace PCM. See appropriate REMOVAL & INSTALLATION article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE. If replacement is complete, go to next step.
- Using scan tool, clear DTCs. Operate vehicle under normal driving conditions. If DTC resets, go to step 2 . If DTC does not reset, system is okay.
