Calibrating ESC/CVRSS Control Module
NOTE:
To ensure NEW control module is calibrated for specific vehicle, Code C1658 is stored in memory on Seville models, and Code C0563 is stored in memory on DeVille and Eldorado models. After replacing control module, it must be calibrated. If NEW control module is not calibrated, stored code cannot be cleared.
Ensure Tech 2 scan tool is equipped with latest version of chassis application program. Turn ignition off. Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). Turn ignition on, with engine off. To calibrate control module, follow instructions on scan tool. Perform ALC trim height adjustment. See ALC TRIM HEIGHT . Remove scan tool.
