Remove the left and right instrument panel tie bar brace (2). Instrument Panel Tie Bar Brace Replacement
Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Insulator - Right Side (2) - Remove - Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Insulator Replacement - Right Side
Brake and Accelerator Pedal Bracket Bolt (1) - Remove
Brake and Accelerator Pedal Bracket Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
Windshield Wiper Transmission (2) - Remove - Windshield Wiper Transmission Replacement
Instrument Panel Tie Bar Bolt (1) - Remove
Remove the left and right front side door (1). Front Side Door Replacement
Instrument Panel Tie Bar Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
Instrument Panel Tie Bar Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
Heater and Air Conditioning Evaporator and Blower Module Bolt (1) - Remove [4x]
- Air Cleaner Outlet Duct - Remove - Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement
- NOTE:
Loosening the nut will aid in releasing the HVAC module from the tie bar.
Heater and Air Conditioning Evaporator and Blower Module Nut (1) @Cowl Panel - Loosen
Use a suitable tool to release the HVAC module tabs (1) from the tie bar.
Disengage the left side and right side retaining tabs (1) in the area indicated by the arrow.
Body Wiring Harness Lead Nut (1) - Remove
- Remove the body wiring harness lead (2).
Body Wiring Harness Lead Nut (1) - Remove
- Remove the body wiring harness lead (2).
Instrument Panel Tie Bar Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
- Note the location and routing of the instrument panel wiring harness prior to removal to ensure proper installation.
- Support the HVAC module in order to prevent damage.
- With the aid of an assistant, remove the instrument panel tie bar assembly from the vehicle. (2)
- Transfer components as necessary.
