Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the mass airflow sensor wiring harness plug (1).
  2. Clip out the engine control module (ECM) wiring harness plug retainer (2) from the air cleaner housing.
  3. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement .

  4. Remove the 6 air cleaner housing cover bolts (1).
  5. Remove the air cleaner upper housing (2).
  6. Remove the mass air flow sensor with intake air temperature sensor from the air cleaner upper housing. Refer to Mass Airflow Sensor with Intake Air Temperature Sensor Replacement .
