Remove steering wheel

- Replace any damaged part or ones that have been dropped.

NOTE:
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
The steering wheel and horn plate must be replaced if the airbag unit has been deployed.
Check all steering wheel attachments (such as switches, cover, shift paddles, wiring harness) for damage and replace if necessary!

When releasing the screw, have a support person brace the steering wheel in order to reduce torque on the steering column!

- Shift the steering wheel and wheels to the straight-ahead position.
- Release the screw (1) and remove the steering wheel.
