Inserting the output shaft
Precondition
- Output shaft removed
NOTE:
RISK OF DAMAGE
Damage to the transmission end joint of the output shaft.
Pull or push between the output shaft and the transmission end joint leads to damage to the transmission end joint.
Damage to the transmission end joint of the output shaft.
Pull or push between the output shaft and the transmission end joint leads to damage to the transmission end joint.
- Avoid pulling or pushing between the output shaft and the transmission end joint when removing, installing and repairing the output shaft.
NOTE:
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
The transmission-side joint may be bent by max. 18° and the wheel-side joint by max. 45°!

Repair should only be carried out via the transmission end-side joint! Do not push off or dismantle the wheel-side joint!

Preliminary work
- Clamp the output shaft (1) in the vice with aluminum vice jaw protectors (2).
