Install the front power distribution box

- Lines are allowed to have only one repair area.
- Notices in the diagnostic system circuit diagrams must be observed.
- When components are replaced, the notices in the applicable BMW parts catalogue must be observed.
- Connect the connector (1) to the power distribution box (2) and lock it.
- Position the power distribution box (3) and feed it in downwards.
- Tighten down screws (2).

- Tighten down screw (1).
TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION

- Feed in the associated cable and tighten the nuts (2).
TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION

| Flange nut M8 | tightening torque | 15 Nm |
- Insert corresponding cable and tighten screw (1).
TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
| Auxiliary terminal for jump starting | ||
| Positive pole screw | tightening torque | 15 Nm |
- Position the cover (3) correctly and tighten the screws (1).
TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
| Front power distribution box sealing frame | ||
| Bolt RF5x25 | tightening torque | 2.5 Nm |
- Secure the cable clips (2).
- Feed in the cover (2) in a downwards direction.
- The detents (1) must be locked correctly.
