Drawing off oil in the rear differential

Damage to rear differential .
Failure to comply with the oil specifications can result in serious damage to the rear differential .

After completion of repair work, check the transmission oil level in the rear differential.
Use only the approved final drive transmission oil.

Connect the special tool 2 457 963 with the special tool 0 493 337 (00 2 080) .

Open the oil filler plug (1) .
Draw off rear differential oil.
