It is imperative to ensure that there is no air in the hose when topping up a defined (measured) oil quantity.

- Use the special tool 2 460 340 to top up.
- When topping up a defined (measured) oil quantity, first fill the hose (1) with oil. To do this, attach an adapter (2).

- Check oil level.
The oil level at the rear differential has been adjusted correctly once a small quantity of oil leaks from the opening of the oil filler plug.
If necessary, top up final drive transmission oil.
