Installing the electromechanical steering gear

NOTE:
RISK OF DAMAGE
Damage to the track rods or the electromechanical steering gear .
Holding the electromechanical steering gear by the track rods can damage the track rods or the electromechanical steering gear .
Damage to the track rods or the electromechanical steering gear .
Holding the electromechanical steering gear by the track rods can damage the track rods or the electromechanical steering gear .
- Hold the electromechanical steering gear only by its housing.
- Install/position the electromechanical steering gear with the help of an assistant.
- Renew screws (1).
Parts: Screws
- Only position all the screws (1).
- Tighten the screws of the electromechanical steering gear in the marked order from (1) to (3).
Be sure to follow the tightening sequence!
