TECHNICAL INFORMATION
When the engine is stopped after the completion of trip, it may be necessary to run the electric fan. In rare cases, operation of the electric fan can last up to 11 min. This protects the components. In this case, replacing the electric fan will not remedy the problem!

- Loosen screws (2) .
- Remove the guide sleeve (1) .

- Drive a hole into the radial shaft sealing ring using a center punch.
- Screw special tool 0 491 454 (23 0 490) into the radial shaft seal.
- Pull out the radial shaft seal from the transmission housing using an impact weight (1) .
