- Airbag unit may only be set down with the cushion (airbag itself) facing upwards.

Preliminary work
- Refer to DISCONNECTING ALL BATTERY GROUND LEADS .
- Refer to REMOVING AIRBAG UNIT .
- Refer to REMOVING SHIFT PADDLE FOR AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION .
- Refer to REMOVING THE DECORATIVE TRIM FOR THE M LEATHER SPORTS STEERING WHEEL (SA710) .
- Loosen screws (1).
- Disconnect the connector (2) and feed out the cable (3).
- Remove the SPORT button (4) on both sides.
