- Remove and install heavy components with the aid of another person/other persons.
- Insert and install the engine with the special tool 2 220 718 (2) .
- Lower the engine with the special tool 2 220 718 (2).
- Feed out the special tool 0 490 567 (11 0 020) at the special tool 2 220 718 (2).
- Guide out special tool 0 490 567 (11 0 020) on engine mounting bracket (1).
- Guide out special tool 0 490 567 (11 0 020) on special tool 2 459 012 .
- Tighten screw (1) of the right engine mount from the top
using a standard tool.TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION
Engine mount to engine support bracket M12 tightening torque 100 Nm - Prepare all special tools and commercially available tools.
Number Description 1 Standard torque wrench 2 Extension 11 9 150 3 External Torx E14 - Assemble all special tools and commercially available tools as shown.
- Tighten the screw (1) of the left engine mount from the bottom.TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION
Engine mount to engine support bracket M12 tightening torque 100 Nm - Feed in and install transmission oil lines (2).
- Tighten down screws (1).TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION
Holder for transmission oil line Screw Tightening torque 4 Nm - Guide in and position manifold support (2).
- Hand-tighten the bolts (1).
- Tighten down screw (1).TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION
Intake plenum to support M6X25 Tightening torque 8 Nm - Tighten screws (1) at the manifold brackets (2).TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION
Manifold bracket to crankcase M6x16 tightening torque 8 Nm - Insert and position the positive battery cable (3).
- Insert and position the positive battery cable (2).
- Tighten nuts (1).TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION
Positive battery cable Positive pole screw tightening torque 15 Nm - Feed in the cover (2) in a downwards direction.
- Engage the cover (2) into the detents (1).
- Connect tank vent line (4) and lock.
- Make sure that the tank vent line (4) engages audibly.
- Connect and lock fuel supply line (3).
- Make sure that the lock (2) snaps in audibly.
- Feed in and install the clamp (1).
- Connect the vacuum line (1) and lock.
- Make sure that the vacuum line (1) engages audibly.
- Connect and lock coolant line (1).
- Make sure that the coolant line (1) engages audibly.
- Feed the coolant hose (2) in arrow direction and install it.
- Fasten the clamping collar (1) with the special tool 0 495 794 (17 2 050)
.
- Guide in and position coolant hose (2).
- Lock clamp (1).
- Make sure that the clamp (1) snaps-in audibly.
- Connect and lock coolant lines (1) to (3).
- Make sure that the coolant lines (1) to (3) snap-in audibly.
- Connect and lock coolant lines (1) and (2).
- Make sure that the coolant lines (1) and (2) engage audibly.
- Insert and install the holder (2).
- Make sure that the lock (1) snaps in audibly.
- Connect and lock coolant line (1).
- Make sure that the coolant line (1) engages audibly.
- Connect and lock the coolant line (1) to the electric coolant pump (2).
- Make sure that the coolant line (1) engages audibly.
- Connect and lock coolant line (1).
- Make sure that the coolant line (1) engages audibly.
- Insert and install the air conditioning compressor (3).
- Tighten down screws (2).TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION
Air conditioning compressor in component carrier M10 Tightening torque 38 Nm - Connect connectors (1) and lock.
- Make sure the connector (1) engages audibly.
- Insert and install the holder (2).
- Tighten down screw (1).TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION
Holder for transmission oil lines on component carrier M6X16 Tightening torque 12 Nm
