Installing the rear bumper cover

Check 

• Check detents (arrows) for damage.

Result 

» The detents are damaged.

Measure 

• Replace the bumper cover.

• Position the bumper cover (1)  to be straight with support staff.
• Connect all connectors and lock.

• Clip the bumper cover (2)  at the side into the detents (arrows).
• Clip the bumper cover (2)  in the area of the rear light housing into the detents (3)  .
• Tighten down screw (1)  .

Hexagon screw for thermoplastic	Tightening torque	2.5 Nm

• Clip the bumper cover into the detents (2)  .
• Tighten down screws (1)  .

• Tighten down screws (1)  .

• Refer to INSTALLING THE TRIM IN THE WATER CHANNEL ON THE LEFT AND RIGHT .
• Refer to INSTALLING LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT WHEEL ARCH TRIM PANEL LEFT AND RIGHT PARTIALLY .
• Refer to INSTALLING THE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT WELL IN FRONT .
• Refer to INSTALLING LOADING EDGE TRIM .
• Refer to IF INSTALLED: INSTALLING THE EMERGENCY WHEEL .
• Refer to INSTALLING LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR COVERING .
