NOTE:
RISK OF DAMAGE
Damage to the steering wheel electronics
Failure to follow the instructions for disassembly and handling of the steering wheel electronics may result in damage to the control unit.
Damage to the steering wheel electronics
Failure to follow the instructions for disassembly and handling of the steering wheel electronics may result in damage to the control unit.
- It is mandatory to remove metal chips from the steering wheel electronics before removal! Metal chips can penetrate the control unit and lead to malfunction.
- Do not blow out metal chips!
- Before removing the steering wheel electronics, (1) remove metal shavings with a vacuum cleaner!
- Unlock all plug connections (arrows) and disconnect them.
- Remove the control unit (1) for the steering wheel electronics.
