Install the tension strut

• Replace lock nut (1)  .

  Parts:  Lock nut

• Feed in tension strut (2)  and position on the swivel bearing.
• Replace nut (1)  .

  Parts:  Nut

• Tighten the nut (1)  .
  NOTE: Counter-hold at the Torx socket.
  TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Tension strut to swivel bearing
  M14 Replace nut.	tightening torque	175 Nm

  NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION 
  Tighten the threaded connection in the normal position.
• Position the tension strut and crash lever (2)  on the front subframe.
• Replace the screw (1)  .

  Parts:  Screw

• Tighten screw (1)  by hand.

  The screw connection is tightened later in normal position.

• Refer to TIGHTENING THE SCREW CONNECTION FOR THE TENSION STRUT ON THE FRONT SUBFRAME .
• Refer to INSTALLING BOTTOM FRONT COVER FROM THE SIDE .
• Refer to INSTALLING FRONT UNDERBODY PROTECTION .
