Installing the right-hand charge air cooler

• Check the seal (1) for damage and replace if necessary.

• Insert and install the right-hand charge air cooler (1).

• Position the charge air cooler (1) as shown.
• Connect and lock the coolant line (2).

  The coolant line (2) must audibly engage.

• Attach the coolant line (1) to the right-hand charge air cooler (2).
• Tighten down screw (3).
  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
  
  

  Charge air cooler to holder
  M6x35	Tightening torque	8 Nm

• Tighten down screws (1).
  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
  
  

  Alternator to cylinder head
  M8x85	Tightening torque	22 Nm

• Connect and lock the coolant line (2).

  The coolant line (2) must audibly engage.

• Insert and install the holder (1).

  The holder (1) must engage audibly.

• Lock clamp (2).

  The clamp (2) must engage audibly.

• Connect connectors (1) and lock.

• Attach the tank vent line (3) to the clamps (arrowed).
• Insert and install charge air line (2).
• Tighten down screws (1).

  Connecting hose to charge air cooler
  Hexagon screw M6	Tightening torque	8 Nm

• Feed in and install the tank vent valve with the bracket (3).
• Ensure that the locking mechanism (2) engages audibly.
• Fasten the cable (1) using the clamp (arrowed).
