Install catalytic converter

• Replace the V-ribbon clip (1).

  Parts:  V-ribbon clip

• Replace the seal (1).

  Parts:  Gasket

• Feed in and install catalytic converter.
• Lock clamp (1).

  The clamp (1) must engage audibly.

• Tighten V-band clamp (1).
  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
  
  

  Catalytic converter to exhaust turbocharger
  V-band clamp Replace V-band clamp.	Tightening torque  19 Nm

• Replace nuts (1).

  Parts:  Nuts

• Tighten nuts (1).
  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
  
  

  Catalytic converter to holder
  M8 Nut Replace nut.	tightening torque  28 Nm

  NOTE: The following step(s) must be performed if the listed component(s) is/are installed.
• Replace pressure hose (1)

  Parts:  Pressure hose

• Push on the pressure hose (1) in direction of arrow up to the stop.

• Refer to INSTALLING THE CLEAN AIR PIPE AND THE RESONATOR .
• Refer to INSTALLING THE INTAKE FILTER HOUSING (TENSION STRUT REMOVED ON SHOCK TOWER) .
• Refer to INSTALLING THE TENSION STRUT ON THE RIGHT SHOCK TOWER .
• Refer to INSTALLING ACOUSTIC COVER .
