Installing front door window glass

• Insert the twisted door window glass (1) into the door frame (2).
• Insert the door window glass (1) into the rubber window seals by twisting it.
• Push the door window glass (1) fully upwards and secure it to the door frame (2) using adhesive tape.

  The door window glass (1) must be positioned correctly in the rubber window seal.

• Shift the power windows upwards until the door window glass (1) correctly engages in both holders.
• Remove adhesive tape.

• Refer to INSTALLING THE WINDOW CHANNEL STRIP ON THE FRONT DOOR ON THE OUTSIDE .
• Refer to MOUNTING THE OUTSIDE REARVIEW MIRROR ONTO THE FRONT DOOR .
• Refer to INSTALLING FRONT DOOR TRIM PANEL .
• Refer to MOUNTING MIRROR TRIANGLE COVER .

• Mount the special tool 0 492 609 (51 3 010) for easier handling of the side window (1).

• Insert the twisted door window glass (1) into the door frame (2).
• Insert the door window glass (1) into the rubber window seals by twisting it.
• Apply a drop of screw locking agent on the screw thread of the mounting bolt before screwing.

• Position side window with the assistance of a support person.
• Tighten the screws (1).

• Position the gas-filled shock absorber (1) on the ball heads and clip it in.
• Ensure that the ball heads engage correctly.

• Connect and lock the connector (1) of the side window.
• Attach the available cable bracket.
