- Wear safety goggles and protective gloves when disconnecting the refrigerant line.
- Close the refrigerant lines with seal plugs.
- Open holder (1).
- Remove water drain hose (2) from the bracket (1) and set it aside.
- Guide out and remove holder (1).
- Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.
- Release the screws (1) on the refrigerant lines.
- Remove refrigerant lines from the electric A/C compressor (EKK).
- Unlock and disconnect the connector (2) on the electric A/C compressor (EKK).NOTE: The following step(s) must be performed if the listed component(s) is/are installed.
- Release the screw (1) on the holder (2) at the rear at the electric A/C compressor (EKK) (3).
- Release the cable bracket (4).
- Feed out and remove the holder (2) at the rear at the air conditioning compressor (3).
- Remove screws (arrows).
- Feed out and remove the belt pulley (1).NOTE: To provide a better overview: Schematic diagram with partially hidden components.
- Loosen screws (1) and (2).
- Remove the electric A/C compressor (EKK) (3) toward the front top.
