Installing rear door window glass
NOTE:
Schematic diagram is for example purposes. Some parts may differ in certain details.
- Feed in the door window glass and fix it to the door frame using adhesive tape at top.
- Move the power electric windows upwards until the bracket (1) engages.
- Make sure the holder (1) has engaged correctly.
- Remove adhesive tape.

Protect components against corrosion. Treat paint damage with corrosion protection.

- Check edge protection (1) and foam seal (2).
Replace the damaged parts.
- Mount clamps (1).
- Clean the bonding surfaces on the side window and the body.
- Apply adhesive beads with the standard nozzle in the area of the dotted line.
- Insert a wire loop in the adhesive bead in the lower front corner. This wire loop can be used to pull the cutting wire through the adhesive bead.
- Apply an adhesive bead with the standard nozzle in the area of the dotted line on the side window.
Ensure that the adhesive beads overlap sufficiently in the lower corners of the side window .
- Guide in side window (1) carefully using special tool 2 184 377.
Do not touch the adhesive beads in the process .
- Position side window (1) correctly and press on it lightly.
- Position rubber window seal (1) correctly and insert it on the door frame.
- Align the side window to the rubber window seal and fix it using special tool 2 359 976 as shown.
- Mount window frame trim (1) on the window frame.
- Align the side window to window frame trim (1).
- Tighten screws (2) on window frame trim (3).

- Secure the rubber window seal (1) on the door.
- Mount trim (1) with adhesive.
- Mount window frame trim (1) with adhesive.
- Mount rubber seal (1) on the window frame trim.
