Installing the coolant feed line part 2 between the auxiliary coolant pump and exhaust turbocharger
NOTE:

- Using the special tool 0 496 714 (00 9 030)
, replace the sealing ring (1) on the coolant feed line (2), part 2.
Parts: Sealing ring
- Check the sealing ring (3) on the coolant feed line (2) part 2 for damage, replace the coolant feed line (2) part 2 if necessary.
- Feed the coolant feed line (1) part 2 into the clamp (2) and position it.
- Guide in coolant supply line (3) part 2 and install.
- Tighten the screw (1) and (2).TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
Coolant feed line part 2 on exhaust turbocharger M6X12 tightening torque 8 Nm - Feed in coolant feed line (2) part 2 and install.
- Tighten screw (1).TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
Coolant feed line part 2 on exhaust turbocharger M6X12 tightening torque 8 Nm - Feed the coolant feed line (1) part 2 into the auxiliary coolant line (2) and install it.
The coolant feed line (1) part 2 must audibly engage with the auxiliary coolant line (2).
- Connect connectors (1) and lock.
The connector (1) must engage audibly.
- Feed in the cable (1) and (2) along the arrows and install.
- Insert and install the connector (5) in the carrier plate, The lock (4) must engage audibly.
- Connect connectors (3) and lock.
The connector (3) must engage audibly.
- Insert and install the connector (2) in the carrier plate.
The locks (arrows) must engage audibly.
- Connect connectors (1) and lock.
The connector (1) must engage audibly,
- Check seal (1) for damage and replace seal (1) as needed.

Replacing the damaged seal
NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Use of sharp or pointy tools for installation or removal is prohibited. - Remove damaged seal.
- Clean the gasket groove (1) with a dry cloth.
The gasket groove (1) must be clean.
- Replace gasket.

- Install the seal dry without lubricant or mounting agent.NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Incorrect assembly is possible. Ensure correct installation position. - Thread in seal and install.
- Make sure that the seal is installed correctly in the gasket groove (1).
- Make sure that the sealing lip (2) is directed to the inside as shown.
- Detach locks (1) from the holders in the arrow direction.
- Guide in the clean air pipe (2) for cylinders 4 through 6 and install it.
The locks (1) must engage audibly.
- Feed in the clean air pipe (2) for cylinders 1 to 3 and install it.
The locks (1) must snap-in audibly.
