Installing the connecting branches on the exhaust turbocharger for the cylinders 1 to 3

The use of metal-cutting tools (e.g., emery cloths) for cleaning surfaces can damage them and lead to leaks and/or engine damage .

The use of metal-cutting tools (e.g., emery cloths) for cleaning surfaces can damage them and lead to leaks and/or engine damage .
- Do not use any metal-cutting tools.
- Check the sealing ring (1) for damage, replace the connecting bracket (2) for cylinders 4 to 6 if necessary.
- Check the sealing ring (1) for damage and replace the sealing ring (1) as needed.
- Wet sealing ring (1) with approved lubricant grease.INSTALLATION AID SPECIFICATION
Lubricants G14 900 ml, Can 83232360412 - Clean the sealing surface (1) using special tool 0 495 102 (11 4 470)
.
- Guide in and install the connecting bracket (1) for cylinders 1 to 3.
- Tighten the screws (1).TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
Connecting brackets on exhaust turbocharger M6 tightening torque 8 Nm - Tighten down screw (1).TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
Connecting brackets on exhaust turbocharger M6 tightening torque 8 Nm - Connect and lock the tank vent line (1).
The tank vent line (1) must engage audibly.
- Connect and lock connectors (1) and (2).
The connectors (1) and (2) must audibly engage.
